Cameron Lindley, Chicago Fire

If you’d asked about Cameron Lindley’s professional prospects two years ago, the answer you got might’ve been quite a bit different than what you’ll get now. At 14, Lindley was the youngest player in his U17 residency class, but a bout of homesickness mixed with chronic injuries drove him back to his home state of Indiana. This was after Lindley established himself as a starting holding midfielder in coach Richie Williams’ U17 squad.
