ManU Premier Cup completes quarters, semis

Finalists have been determined at the Man United Premier Cup's U.S. Qualifications being played at Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon. The unique U14 event serves as a qualifier for the Man United Cup's international event in England on the boys side, and the Gothia Cup in Sweden for the girls.

We have a correspondent in place to provide a full report from the two finals for Tuesday's edition of TopDrawerSoccer.comOn the girls' side, Southern Californians CV Manchester Academy and Arsenal FC will meet for the big prize following semifinal wins. Manchester defeated PDA Clash on penalties after a scoreless draw (the matches play 20-minute halves), while Arsenal defeated San Diego Surf 2-1. Losing quarterfinalists included Colorado Rush, Crossfire Premier, Dallas Texans and So Cal Blues.
In boys' play, PDA will meet Cosmos Academy West after the New Jersey team beat Dallas Texans 2-0 and the Southern Californias defeated local rivals Real So Cal 3-0. Losing quarterfinalists for the boys included Mustang United, Vardar, Irvine Strikers and Arsenal FC.
The rest of the 40 teams participating in the event will finish their holiday weekend with friendly matches on Monday.
