A second half strike from Ayo Akinola secured a 1-0 win for the U.S. Under-17 Men’s National Team at the World Cup in India.

Akinola danced past two Ghana defenders and somehow cracked a far-post finish that stood up for a second win in two games for the U.S.

With six points from two Group A matches, the U.S. has all but clinched a spot in the knockout round at the U17 World Cup.
