U20 WNT preps for NTC Invitational tests
The men had their crack at NTC Invitational glory in June. Now it’s time for the women to have a turn.
Late last month, U.S. U20 WNT coach Michelle French called in a 20-player camp roster to put in the prep work for the 2016 NTC Invitational in Carson, Calif. The U.S. kicks off play on Wednesday against South Korea, then moves on to face England and Brazil to round out the competition. The tournament is essentially a well-timed piece of prep work as the U.S. puts the final touches on its work to get ready for the U20 Women’s World Cup in December.
We might not get a full picture of how the team will look in Papua New Guinea in three months, but this is about as close as it gets for the time being. Here a few pressing questions we’ll be looking out for this week.
