The U.S. U16 Boys National Team is taking part in the IMG Cup from December 11-19 in Bradenton, Florida. Head coach Shaun Tsakiris has called in 23 players from the tournament. The U.S. is scheduled to play against Next Gen USA Showcase Select Squad on Dec. 17, Fc Florida Prep Academy 2000 on Dec. 18, and Miramar United Elite FC on Dec. 19. 

The roster consists mainly on players born in 2001, but one player born in 2002 made the list.  Atlanta United defender George Bello earned the honor as the youngest player to make the roster as he continues to get pushed up the ladder with U.S. Soccer. Recent LA Galaxy Academy signing John ‘Xuxuh’ Hilton is also part of the roster as well as recent FC Dallas Homegrown signing BRyan Reynolds.
