The Eagles also had three corners kicks while not yielding a corner to the Bearcats. Cincinnati came out with energy at the start of the second half. In the first four minutes, the Bearcats two corners and five shots. BC's goalkeeper Alexis Bryant came up with two big saves during the pressure. The most impressive stop came in the 50 th minutes on a onetimer from six yards out by Jordan Cotleur. The rebound was cleared by Samantha Hiatt, which then set up a counter attack that resulted in a header by Meehan that just went wide of the goal. Senior McKenzie Meehan made it 20 with her fourth goal of the season. Meehan pounced on a loose ball that was mishandled by the Cincinnati goalkeeper. Meehan never gave up on the play and put the loose ball in the back of the net in the 58 th minute. After Meehan's goal, the Eagles defense held Cincinnati to just three shots, two on goal.
