League play began in the SEC, as top programs continued to battle each other over the past week.

Here are five things to know about last week’s action in women’s college soccer.

1. ACC continues early season dominance

Debating on the best college soccer conference is always an interesting talking point amongst fans and observers. And it’s a conversation that usually leads to either the ACC or Pac-12.

This year, the ACC is emerging as the clear favorite. The TopDrawerSoccer.com Top 25 has six teams in the top 10. Five teams are unbeaten: Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Clemson and Virginia.
