COLUMBIA, Mo. - The No. 10 University of Missouri soccer team used two goals from junior Dominique Richardson en route to 4-1 win over Arizona State Friday afternoon on a rain-soaked Walton Stadium. The Tigers improve to 4-0 on the year, while the Sun Devils fall to 1-3.

Mizzou wasted no time to take an early lead as sophomore Abi Raymer put the Tigers on top 1-0 in the fifth minute. It was Raymer's third of the season and third in as many games.

Junior Dominique Richardson gave the Tigers as 2-0 advantage in the 34th minute. The Fullerton, Calif., native corralled a pass from junior Brooke Williams and poked an eight-yard shot past the Sun Devil goalie and into the back of the net. It was Richardson's first goal of the year and Williams' first assist of the season.

Richardson struck again in the 49th minute after Mizzou was awarded a penalty kick. The junior stepped up and sent a low shot to the left of the goalkeeper for the second goal of the game.

In the 54th minute, senior Haley Krentz sent a cross into the box that found the foot of sophomore Kaysie Clark, who blasted a shot past Arizona State's keeper for a 4-0 Tiger lead. The tally was the first of the season for Clark, while Krentz recorded her team-leading fourth assist of the year.

Arizona State's Devin Marshall got the Sun Devils on the board in the 61st minute for a 4-1 game. Sun Devil Holland Crook sent a long shot on net that Tiger goalie McKenzie Sauerwein punched away. Marshall jumped on the rebound and shot the back into the net.

Mizzou outshot Arizona State 17-8 and had an 11-4 edge in corner kicks.

Sauerwein made three saves in net for the Tigers.

Mizzou returns to action on Sunday, Sept. 2 with a home contest against Tennessee Tech at 1 p.m.
