Growing up in a family where success was targeted, I knew I wanted to carry on the Smith legacy and represent my family with class and dignity. From waking up at 6:15 am every day to catch the high school bus, to pulling up to my driveway at 11:30 pm returning home from practice, I knew that these habits and sacrifices would ultimately help me get to where I am today.
