West Virginia men defeat South Florida

TAMPA (September 25, 2009) – The University of South Florida’s soccer team, ranked No. 3 in the recent National Soccer Coaches Association of America Top 25 poll, dropped its first game of the season with a 1-0 overtime setback to West Virginia in Morgantown tonight.
 
Shadow Sebele came up with a loose ball just 1:12 into the extra session and knocked it past USF goalkeeper Jeff Attinella for the win.
 
The Bulls are now 5-1-1 on the year and 1-1-1 in the BIG EAST, while the Mountaineers improve to 3-2-2 and 2-1-0 in the BIG EAST.
