Ray Reid’s Connecticut Huskies remain at #1 in the TopDrawerSoccer.com
Tournament 48 National Ranking for men’s college soccer, following a pair of victories this week to stay undefeated on the season.
UConn is still our #1 ranked team.The Huskies are now 10-0 after matching double overtime 1-0 wins against Yale and Louisville. Strong team defense including stellar play in goal from Team of the Week member Andre Blake, keyed the victories.
Maryland, Akron and North Carolina follow UConn in this week’s ranking, which is a running effort to project the postseason NCAA Tournament field, including all automatic conference and at-large qualifiers. Weekly updates will appear every Monday.
Meanwhile, Akron’s Luke Holmes has been named the TopDrawerSoccer.com Men's College Player of the Week. Holmes scored two goals and recorded two assists in helping the #3 Zips to pair of victories this week.
