EANECK, N.J. (9/4/10) - Junior striker Antoine Hoppenot scored with 2:31
remaining in regulation to give the Princeton men's soccer team a 1-0 win
over Fairleigh Dickinson in the season opener on Saturday, Sept. 4 at
University Stadium.

Minutes earlier sophomore Matt Sanner rocketed a shot off the cross bar and
a scramble ensued in the box. Hoppenot was able to get to the ball and send
it passed goalkeeper Jacob Lissek.

Princeton outshot FDU 9-7, with Lissek making four stops. Senior captain
Sean Lynch made three saves in goal for the Tigers. Each team took seven
corner kicks.

Princeton will travel to Lehigh on Tuesday, Sept. 7 for a 7 p.m., game at
Ulrich Sports Complex.
