Updated: November 13, 2010

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – No. 2 seed La Salle scored two second-half goals to post a 2-0 victory over fifth-seeded Saint Louis Friday night in the semifinals of the Atlantic 10 Conference Men's Soccer Championship, knocking the Billikens (9-7-3) out of the A-10 Tourney.

The two teams played to a scoreless first half, combining for just three total shots in 45 minutes of action.

La Salle (9-6-3) opened up the scoring in the 59th minute, as sophomore forward Glenroy Chapman scored an unassisted goal past SLU keeper Mark Pais.

Just four minutes later, on a 3-on-1 break, La Salle’s Jidell Roach crossed the ball from the right side to a waiting Chapman, who steadily shot the ball past Pais for his second goal of the match and his third of the season.
