St. Benedict's retained its hammerlock on the No. 1 national boys ranking in this week's NSCAA poll released Tuesday.

While the top four retained its basic shape from last week, a shocker in the form of a loss from Wisconsin's Marquette University dropped that power from No. 6 all the way to No. 22. As a result, fellow regional juggernaut Troy Athens from Michigan nosed into the top 10 with an unbeaten 17-0-1 mark from a week ago.
