This college and professional offseason is the second year where the pathway to the pros goes via free agency in the National Women’s Soccer League.
All but one of the 16 NWSL teams have inked a player from the college game. The only one, as of publication, is the Utah Royals. With a handful of college players in preseason camp, that will likely change by the tim the season begins in mid-March.
