Camp not only for goalkeepers and strikers
March 9, 2011
Year after year Hare Goalkeeper Academy has been providing the necessary tools to help soccer players improve their skills on the field.
That time once again comes near, as Hare Goalkeeper Academy is getting ready to hold both its Soccer Speed and Agility Camp, and Goalkeeper and Striker Camp this summer.
“We help kids get adapted with different methods of training and preparation so they can be ready for whatever team they play on,” said Director Jerry Hare.
“My intention is to bring the best quality coaches to teach proper techniques and training for all the keepers as well as field players,” Hare said.
The Speed and Agility Camp will focus on the fitness of a player. Coaches will emphasize how to be able to harness one’s acceleration and velocity. Other areas of focus will be increasing the speed of a play with the ball, and quick change of direction.
Through the Goalkeepers and Striker Camp, coaches will center on various skills and techniques needed, allowing strikers and goalkeepers to become successful in their position. Guest coaches will work with keepers and strikers in small groups as well as placing them in real game scenarios.
“We individually evaluate every goalkeeper and striker that comes into camp. We will get to look at their strength and their weaknesses,” Hare said. “Then we will start working with them to get them to the next level so they can achieve individual goals and make them a better player.”
With top-notch coaches and exquisite facilities, Jerry Hare and his Goalkeeper Academy assures that players will learn everything they need to be a better player in an environment that will enhance their hunger to grow.
“The camps will provide the necessary training to maximize a player’s performance and their skills so they may pursue further opportunities in years to come,” Hare said.
