The Elite 300 Soccer Academy believes in having the right balance.

That could be the reason why the camp schedules two sessions each year (July 2-6 and July 6-10) and welcomes between 150-170 campers per session. Rudy Fuller, the head coach at Penn and one of the camp’s co-founders, says the camp’s size is one of its best attributes.

“I think if you get a pool of 150-170, you have a good competitive spectrum to measure their ability,” Fuller said. “On the flip side, the kids aren’t lost in the numbers. It’s a small enough pool for recruiting and evaluation.”

Since its founding over 14 years ago, the camp has continued to create a place for student-athletes to play soccer at the highest level in college, while also attending one of the elite academic institutions nationwide.

One of the camp’s most important aspects is to encourage its campers to get to know the Elite 300 staff. Campers are able to ask coaches the questions that need to be answered in order to truly get the most out of the program.

“I always say, ‘recruiting is not just a one-way street, it’s a two-way street’,” Fuller said. “And, it’s imperative for student-athletes today to really take responsibility for their college search and their college decision. In the end, they are responsible for finding the right fit academically, athletically and socially.”

Elite 300 is located on the campus of Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania and is one of the nation’s premier training camps for boys. Participants are coached by some of the country’s best coaches, while training and competing against top talent.

Tuition for the camp is $595, which includes a $200 non-refundable deposit. Registration is online and by charge only.
