The Boys ECNL event wrapped up on Monday from Richmond, Virginia. The teams endured challenging weather during the showcase. TopDrawerSoccer highlighted some of the standouts from the games we saw at the event. 

That was not the only boys club soccer event over the weekend. Some MLS Academy teams were in Atlanta for the MLS Academy Cup. Philadelphia Union continued their dominance at the youth level as the club went 6-0 from the three games in the U15 and U17 age groups. FC Cincinnati U17 also went 3-0 at the event. TopDrawerSoccer highlighted the standouts from the games on Monday.

There were also a number of other tournaments across the country. Manchester City Cup in Southern California was one of the biggest ones from the over the weekend that included teams from Boys ECNL, MLS Next, and other leagues. 

Crossfire ECNL won the top flight in the U19 age bracket at the Manchester City Cup over the weekend. The Washington club won all five games on the way to the hardware and only conceded two goals during the competition. 

San Diego Surf ECNL 04 captured the hardware in the U17 bracket. Surf defeated Riverside City FC 04 in the championship game on on Monday. Strikers FC 05 won in the U16 age group. Strikers survived in the semifinal round with a 9-8 pk shootout victory over Surf and then topped Nomads MLS Next in the final. 

Albion SC 06 MLS Next broke up the Boys ECNL sweep, as Albion claimed the championship in the U15 age group. Albion beat Strikers 2-1 in the championship game on Monday. 

San Diego SC 07 topped LA Galaxy 3-2 in the championship at the U14 level. SDSC beat San Diego Surf in a penalty kick shootout in the semifinal. Crossfire B08 ECNL won the U13 championship. Crossfire beat Real So Cal 2-0 in the championship game.
