It was a Southern Conference program that separated itself from the rest of his college search that drew the commitment of Sam Ross, an attacking midfielder from DA side South Carolina United Battery.
“I decided that Wofford was the school for me because for one the campus is beautiful and the coaching staff is supportive and the program itself is very impressive,” he told TopDrawerSoccer.com. “I have always been interested in Wofford and was very happy when I had the chance to go on a visit and meet coach [Ralph] Polson. Not only did I get to meet the staff but also got to see some of my former teammates who currently play for Wofford now. I am very excited for my future with this program and am ready for what it brings to my game and how I develop as a player.”
