ECNL SD: Top Performances from Last Day
SAN DIEGO, California - ECNL San Diego is in the books. There were a number of talented players on hand at the showcased. Plenty of them stood out on the final day of action from Southern California.
Here are the best players on Sunday from the games that TopDrawerSoccer saw.
F Kaillen Fried, FC Portland U16 - The energetic forward was one of the bright spots of the first half between FC Portland and Internationals SC. She was hyperactive in searching out the ball and giving her teammates options at the point of the attack. She had good moments when she played quickly in the combination play, but she did get dispossessed on occasions when she tried to dribble out of trouble. The right ideas are there for Fried and she definitely had some stellar play when linking Taryn Ries after the youth national team member stepped on the field. Fried also showed a little bite to her game with some physical play. She’ll fit in well at the college level.
