Five energy bars worth trying
With so many energy bars to choose from, which one is right for you? Well, here are five that have our attention.
Clif Bars: These have been around a while but they remain a healthy option that’s low in fat. Uses signature all-natural ingredients but still manages to arouse the taste buds with some inventive flavors.
Pro Bar Whole Food: These 100 percent vegan bars are made with ingredients that are blended rather than baked. These tend to be on the more expensive side of the spectrum.
Larabar: As minimal a supplement as you’ll find. These are made with little more than fruits and nuts. There are no coatings, no dairy or soy, just an option of fruit flavors. It’s surprisingly tasty, but lacks comparatively in the protein department.
PowerBar Harvest Whole Grain: Lower in calories than some of the PowerBar choices, with a healthy dose of protein and lots of vitamins and minerals.
Honey Stinger: Low in calories, with a great natural taste that lacks the heavy syrup and sugar ingredients of its competitors.
