A moment of magic decided the first-ever Generation adidas Cup Girls Division final.
In a four-team tournament which featured two Girls Academy All-Star teams, Girls Academy Red topped Blue thanks to a Molly McGuire strike in the 80th minute of the final. The 2-1 win was secured on Sunday after Bristol Kersh (Red) and Isabella Ortiz (Blue) traded goals in the first half. McGuire won it with a long-distance, one-time smash from 35 yards from goal.
Both teams finished unbeaten against academy sides from Manchester City and Bayern Munich, which also made the trip to Florida. Girls Academy Red opened up the tournament with a 3-1 win against Manchester City. After losing 2-1 to Blue in the second group game, Red beat Bayern Munich 4-0. Girls Academy Blue beat Bayern 4-2 and drew Manchester City 1-1 on the final day of group play on Saturday.

All-Star GA RED brings home the Generation Adidas Cup after a tough battle with GA Blue in the final. So grateful to be coached by the best around the country and meet such amazing, talented girls. Also so honored to be named Adidas Play of the Match. Below is my game-winner. pic.twitter.com/cDMQYe2d57
