Standouts from Day 1 of the U18 DA playoffs

WESTFIELD, Ind. — Winning 50-50 balls and earning timely tackles was the highlight of day one of the Development Academy Showcase. Here are a few players who were able to accomplish those tasks at a high level.

D Zachary Herivaux, New England Revolution: Even though the New England Revolution’s 4-1 loss didn’t start off their week the way they wanted to, there were still bright spots to look upon. Zachary Herivaux is one of them. The 5-foot-11 defenseman is a reliable ball winner and his height and strength make it difficult for opponents to get past him. Herivaux and company will be looking to tighten up their defense against tomorrow’s opponent Chivas USA.
