The first U.S. U14 Talent Identification Youth National Team Mini-Camp was held last week in Southern California. The four-day event featured three games, a trip to Chula Vista to spend a day with the U.S. Men’s National Team, and a number of eye-opening experiences for the 80 players called into the camp.
U.S. Soccer Director of Talent Identification Tony Lepore chatted with TopDrawerSoccer on Tuesday about the objectives of the camp, takeaways from the first camp, and the scouting process of assembling the roster.
