US Soccer Scout talks about DA

The sudden closure of the Development Academy will have ripple effects through youth soccer in the United States for a long time. One part of the soccer landscape that will be different without the Development Academy is scouting. While the DA was not the only avenue for U.S. Soccer Scouting and MLS Academy Scouting, it was certainly the most prevalent avenue. 

TopDrawerSoccer chatted with U.S. Soccer Scout Josh Hill on Monday about what his scouting process might look like in the future, how U.S. Soccer’s Talent Scout Identification Course is helping, and the new leagues.
