U.S. U18 WNT to Hold Camp in Chula Vista
CHICAGO (May 31, 2012) - The U.S. Under-18 Women’s National Team will come together for its second training camp of the year from June 2-10, 2012, at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif.
U.S. head coach and Women’s Technical Director April Heinrichs has called in 24 players, almost all born in 1994 with several in 1993, for a camp that will feature a scrimmage against the U.S. U-17 Women’s National Team on the morning of May 10.
The U-18 players in this camp will likely form the core of the pool that will train in preparation for qualifying for the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup to be held in Canada.
