US Youth Soccer Showcase canceled

US Youth Soccer announced on Monday that National League Texas was canceled due to the weather in Texas. The announcement comes on the heels of ECNL canceling their event in Houston last weekend, and Girls Academy League canceling their event for this weekend in Austin.
US Youth Soccer cited “the record low temperatures and snowfall across Texas” as the reason for canceling the event. “We believe that canceling the event is the safest and most responsible course of action.”
The league states that all teams would receive a refund for the event. And there are no plans to reschedule the event a this time.
