2015 MLS Draft: Big Board v 2.0
It's not too long until the 2015 MLS SuperDraft.
And as college soccer standouts prepare to make the jump to the next level, the NCAA tournament begins Thursday, a final chance for those still alive to impress pro scouts. Below is the second updated Big Board for next January's draft.
In the second edition of the Big Board, a number of players have been culled for either signing homegrown deals (Sean Davis, Patrick Doody) or players TDS expects or already have announced that they will stay in school in 2015 (Joshua Yaro, Abu Danladi). The Generation adidas class is expected to be small, and it will change for future updates. The list has also been expanded to 100 players in total. Once again, players marked with an asterisk is a recommended Generation adidas target, while players marked with the (^) symbol have ties to MLS academies.
Compiled through watching games over the past few seasons, conversations with scouts and coaches alike, the Big Board is an attempt at ranking players by their projected pro potential.
