College stars will once again provide the bulk of the rosters for this year’s USL PDL season, which kicked off last weekend.

The 72-team race for a championship culminates in August, and a number of Division I standouts are slated to suit up for PDL franchises over the next few months.

Keep an eye on these 15 DI players this season.

M Cameron Lindley, Wilmington Hammerheads

The TopDrawerSoccer.com Freshman of the Year heads east to the NC coast for the summer. The box-to-box midfielder from North Carolina is going to provide a huge impact for the Hammerheads, which dropped from the USL to PDL for this year. Lindley could be one of the best players in the PDL in 2017.
