Connecticut’s Carlos Alvarez And Portland's Michelle Enyeart earned the TopDrawerSoccer.com Player of the Week honors for Men’s and Women’s College Soccer this week due to their standout performances.

Enyeart scored 3 goals and added 3 assists in a pair of big wins for the #2 Pilots. The former TopDrawerSoccer.com Rookie of the Season is part of a high-powered offensive cadre for Garrett Smith’s squad. It is her 2nd Player of the Week honor this season.

Alvarez recorded 2 goals and 3 assists as the Huskies won a pair of matches and advanced to #6 in the Men’s Ranking.

Meanwhile in the TopDrawerSoccer.com Tournament 64 and 48 National Ranking, the Akron Zips men and the Stanford Cardinal women retain their #1 ranking, remaining unbeaten and untied on the 2009 season.

Paul Ratcliffe’s Stanford women are now 15-0-0 after a pair of road wins in Pac 10 play vs. Oregon State and Oregon. New entries into the ranking, which is a running attempt to project the postseason NCAA Women’s College Tournament field, include Washington State, Colorado College, Bucknell, Texas State, Eastern Washington, Morehead State and Arkansas Pine Bluff.

On the men’s side, Caleb Porter’s Akron program remains undefeated at 13-0-0 after beating Virginia Tech and Mid-American Conference rival Northern Illinois on the week. Wake Forest, UCLA, Maryland and South Florida all move up in the top 5. New entries to the ranking, which is a running effort to project the postseason NCAA Men’s Tournament field, include South Carolina, Boston College, Missouri State, UNC Wilmington, Dartmouth and Wofford.

Erin Guthrie, Rutgers
- Goalkeeper had 9 saves in a pair of shutout wins for the Scarlet Knights.
Allie Sadow, Wake Forest - Scored a pair of goals in a win for the Demon Deacons over NC State.
Michelle Enyeart, Portland - Scored 3 goals and added 3 assists fo the Pilots in a pair of big wins.
Tiffany McCarty, Florida State - Had 2 goals and 2 assists in The Seminoles’ 5-1 win over Clemson.
Taylor Knaack, Notre Dame - Had 3 goals and 1 assist as the Fighting Irish won a pair of matches.
Becca Thomas, UCF - Scored 3 goals as the Golden Knights won a pair of matches.
Ali Riley, Stanford - Outside back played 180 minutes and aided the attack as Stanford earned 2 shutout wins in key Pac 10 matches.
Sara Jordan, Georgetown - Broke the Hoyas’ career scoring record with a pair of goals in a 2-victory weekend.
Sarah Hagen, Wisconsin-Milwaukee - Scored 3 goals in a pair of wins as the Panthers clinched the Horizon League title.
Hailey Beam, Charlotte - Scored a goal and contributed 4 assists as the 49ers picked up 2 more wins.
Christa Matlack, Bucknell - Scored twice as the Bison beat Navy to take the lead in the Patriot League.

Austin Da Luz, Wake Forest - Scored a goal and added 3 assists in the Demon Deacons’ win over NC State.
Charlie Rugg, Boston College - Scored twice and added an assist as the Eagles recorded 2 victories on the week.
Austin Neil, Tulsa - Scored 2 goals and added an assist in Tulsa’s win over UAB.
