On the women’s side, goal-scoring sensation Sarah Hagen from Wisconsin-Milwaukee is a shoo-in for top honors, while with the men, Wisconsin Green Bay’s Tony Walls is in the top slot thus far.

For the next 3 weeks or so, we will be unveiling our top 20 list for each competitive DI conference, men’s and women’s. These rankings are based on previous accolades, current season performance and especially the feedback of informed observers all over the country.

The rankings are subject to change at any time and will be replaced with a comprehensive season-ending version in December.
