The men’s Division I season is gaining momentum.

There’s still plenty left to play for, as the major conference games are starting to dominate the schedule.

However, even if it may be early, the compact nature of the college game means that even the small sample of games is still significant. And part of that picture is which freshmen, both heralded coming in and under the radar, have stepped up straight away.
