Record 17 Saints Named MAAC All-Academic
LOUDONVILLE, NY – For the fourth consecutive year, Siena Women’s Soccer set a new program record by having 17 student athletes named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Academic Team. To be eligible, a student athlete must have completed at least two semesters at their current institution, and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher through the conclusion of the 2020 spring semester.
The women’s soccer team led all Siena Athletics programs by achieving a remarkable 3.77 cumulative team GPA during the 2020 spring semester. Overall, the Saints boasted a stellar 3.52 cumulative team GPA through the conclusion of the most recent school year.
Earlier this fall, Siena Women’s Soccer earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 18th straight year. The award is presented annually to collegiate men’s and women’s soccer programs which maintain a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or better.
