Women's Team of the Week: August 25
After leading a historic rivalry upset of the defending national champions, Kyra Taylor of Florida earns Player of the Week honors.
Before her legendary exploits versus Florida State, the Texas native was vital in a narrow 3-2 victory over Coastal Carolina, scoring two first-half goals. That set the table for the matchup with the No. 1-ranked Seminoles as Taylor again scored twice to lead the Gators to a 3-1 win, the first over their rivals in eleven years.
