The latest Player of the Week is Ai Kitagawa, a sophomore who ensured Memphis remained undefeated on the season.

The first match of the period was straightforward as the Japanese standout netted one goal and played 60 minutes in a 4-1 win over North Texas. The reigning AAC Freshman of the Year then elevated her performance against Florida Atlantic, scoring twice, including a dramatic 89th-minute winner to secure another victory for the 12-0-2 Panthers.

Women’s Team of the Week: October 6-October 12

GK: Izzy Lee, Illinois - The junior goalkeeper excelled, tallying 17 saves in shutout wins over Rutgers and Purdue.

D: Kiara Gilmore, Wisconsin - Gilmore continued her strong freshman campaign with an assist in the 1-0 upset of No. 7 UCLA and played 90 minutes in a 1-0 shutout of USC.

D: Joellie Giquinto, High Point - The standout freshman played 90 minutes and scored in a 3-0 win over Presbyterian.

D: Emma Warren, Vermont - Ensuring the team won a crucial conference clash, Warren played the full match and assisted the goal that defeated Maine 1-0.

M: Ai Kitagawa, Memphis – As she has all season, the sophomore led the Tigers to two wins with three goals, including a dramatic 89th-minute game-winner versus FAU.

M: Tyler Isgrig, Baylor – The Bears played once, and Isgrig capitalized, logging a double and an assist to secure the win over BYU.

M: Brooke Vogel, Delaware - Returning to her goal-scoring ways, the New Jersey native paced two victories with a goal against Jacksonville State  and a double against Kennesaw State.

M: Georgia Liapis, Western Kentucky – Missouri State had no answer for Liapis as her two goals and her assist on the game-winning goal made the difference in a 4-3 thriller.

F: Tess Werts, Utah State - Werts scored four in Utah State's 7-1 win over Fresno State. 

F: Ginny Lackey, James Madison - The England native's hat trick led to a 3–2 win over Louisiana.

F: Alexis Garcia, La Salle - A substitute role was no problem for Garcia as she managed a hat trick and an assist to lead a 5-1 victory over George Washington.
