More than 750 fall-, winter- and spring-playing high school girls players made the cut for the Fall TeamSnap All-America Watch List, Winter TeamSnap All-America Watch List and Spring TeamSnap All-America Watch List.
Players, through coaches recommendations and TopDrawerSoccer staff observations, will be added each week to the list as performances warrant. The only players that will be removed from the list will be athletes who are no longer playing high school soccer or sustain a season-ending injury that will take them out of all-state consideration.
The TeamSnap All-America teams are not announced until the end of the school year.
Here are recent performances and updates from players on the TeamSnap All-America Watch Lists:
* F Meghan Frerking, Notre Dame de Sion (Mo.), Jr.: Frerking is helping Notre Dame de Sion deliver on its lofty expectations for 2017. Frerking scored the first goal as the team stunned then SIMA FAB 50 No. 1 St. Thomas Aquinas (Kan.) 2-0 in the semifinals of the Bob Durig Mo-Kan Challenge. She then delivered the lone goal in the team's 1-0 victory over nationally ranked Lee's Summit North (Mo.). All three teams entered the week undefeated, but only Notre Dame de Sion remains perfect.
* F Amanda Nhek, Patriot (Va.), Sr.: The George Mason signee scored three goals last week as Patriot stunned Forest Park (Va.) 4-0. Forest Park was a preseason Top 5 state pick. Patriot's victory moves the new school well up into the rankings and it is now expected to challenge Battlefield for local supremacy.
* F Emilene Parham, Battlefield (Va.), Jr.: Parham scored six goals last week and already has seven goals and five assists for the top-ranked team in Virginia. Parham plays club soccer for FC Virginia in the ECNL.
* Lucy Simons, Richmond Academy (Ga.), Jr.: After scoring 18 goals and earning second-team all-area honors last year, Simons is having a breakout season in 2017. The junior scored nine goals last week to reach the 50-goal mark for the season.
