New High School Rankings, All-America Lists
TopDrawerSoccer.com, the leading destination for college, club and high school soccer news, is pleased to announce the addition of longtime national high school soccer reporter, Sheldon Shealer, to the staff.
Starting in August, TopDrawerSoccer.com/HighSchool will be the new home for the FAB 50 weekly boys and girls high school soccer rankings, which Shealer has been producing since 1999. In addition, Shealer will bring the Prep School Top 10, along with an enhanced high school All-America program, to TopDrawerSoccer.com's offerings. The FAB 50 soccer rankings previously were part of StudentSports.com, and ESPN RISE/ESPNHS.
“We are incredibly excited to expand our high school soccer offerings by adding, what we believe to be, the foremost authority in high school soccer, Sheldon Shealer, to our staff,” said TopDrawerSoccer.com President and CEO Joseph Konowiecki. “Our goal, to grow and improve college and youth soccer by providing unparalleled coverage and events, aligns perfectly with Sheldon’s content and expertise.”
"This is an exciting time for the youth soccer fan, allowing me to marry up my many years of work in high school soccer with the vast offerings of TopDrawerSoccer.com, thus creating one great catch-all web destination for college, club and high school soccer,” said Sheldon Shealer. “I figured this day would come, and the fans of youth soccer are sure to benefit. Professionally, this is a great step as I'm finally able to focus on my specialty in high school soccer within the broader scope offerings from TopDrawerSoccer.com, a nationally known and well-respected brand.”
In the past, Shealer has assisted in the Gatorade and Parade All-America programs, and served as reporter/editor for such media outlets as ESPN, The Washington Post and most recently, StudentSports.com.
