NOTES: Tony Saldana scored twice in between goals by Yahir Perez and Manny Prieto as Dalton defeated FAB 50-ranked Gainesville 4-1 in the state final, completing a perfect season. Wake Forest signee Omar Hernandez assisted both of Saldana's goals. The title marked the fourth for Dalton since 2013 and fifth overall. Dalton has wins over teams from Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee. The notable results were wins over FAB 50-ranked McCallie School (Tenn.) and Gainesville, and a state semifinal victory over Pope (Ga.), a former FAB 50-ranked team.
2 (2) Jenks Jenks, OK 18-0-0*
Season Complete. Oklahoma Class 6A state champion.
School Facts: Public, 3,400 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Sophomore Christian Sosa converted the deciding penalty kick as Jenks edged rival Tulsa Union in a shootout following a 1-1 match. The shootout went 11 rounds between these state powers, which were meeting in the state final for the second straight season. The win gave Jenks its first state title since 2006. Andres Quintero scored Jenks' regulation goal, which at the time tied the match at 1. Jenks had key victories over Union and Oklahoma 5A state champion Bishop Kelley during the regular season. Jenks also won the Southern Soccer Challenge in Alabama, beating Randolph (Ala.), Independence (Tenn.) and Grissom (Ala.).
3 (3) Waukee Waukee, IA 22-0-0*
Season Complete. Iowa Class AAA state champion.
School Facts: Public, 1,800 students, grades 10-12.
NOTES: Waukee went coast-to-coast as the TopDrawerSoccer No. 1 team in Iowa. The Warriors topped Iowa City West 3-1 in the state final behind goals by Edi Cokovic, CJ Coppola and Justin Crawmer. Waukee, the two-time defending state champion, carries a 28-match win streak into the 2020 season after outscoring their opponents 86-6 this season. Cokovic led the team in goals (18) and assists (9). Jackson Keeler had 12 goals and Coppola added 11. Senior keeper Wesley Sanders had a 0.17 goals against average.
4 (4) Westminster Schools Atlanta, GA 21-1-1*
Season Complete. Georgia Class AAA state champion.
School Facts: Private, 1,875 students, grades K-12 (800+ in 9-12).
NOTES: Weyimi Agbeyegbe, Ryan Schaufele, Michael Johnson and Charlie Ham scored the goals to carry Westminster to a 4-0 victory over Coahulla Creek. The victory marked Westminster's 14th state title. Westminster had three common opponents with Dalton and had comparable results. Westminster's lone loss was to Station Camp (Tenn.) during the Smoky Mountain Cup, an event that Westminster ended up winning on goal difference after beating FAB 50-ranked McCallie School (Tenn.), which defeated Station Camp. Westminster also had wins over FAB 50-ranked Cross Keys and Bearden (Tenn.).
5 (5) South Lakes Reston, VA 20-1-0*
Season Complete. Virginia 6A state champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,525 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Sophomore Merrick Edgerton headed home the winning goal with 15 minutes remaining off a throw-in from Binghamton signee and Washington Post Player of the Year Michael Bush as South Lakes edged regional rival James Madison 1-0 in the state final. The result gave the Seahawks their first state title and secured a final No. 1 ranking in The Washington Post Spring Top 10.
6 (6) Lambert Suwanee, GA 21-1-0*

School Facts: Public, 2,900 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Yeonsung Lee followed up a shot by Hayden Fontana, scoring the game-winning goal as Lambert edged Lakeside is a FAB 50 Top 25 state title clash. Fontana also factored in the first goal as his shot was blocked by Lakeside's keeper, but Tyler Nadiak was there to finish the play for then a 1-0 lead. Chris Smith had a big game in goal as Lambert won a state title for the second straight year.

School Facts: Public, 1,200 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Benhui Ryang scored a pair of dramatic goals to lift Charlottesville to a 2-1 come-from-behind, overtime win over previously undefeated Chancellor. Charlotteville also knocked off previously undefeated Jamestown in the state semifinals. In the final, Ryang scored with less than two minutes to go to step up overtime. Only three minutes from going to a penalty kick shootout, Ryang struck again for the winner. During the semifinals, West Virginia signee Kyle Lehnert and Rachade Kondo each had a goal and one assist in a 4-2 victory.
8 (8) Wando Mt. Pleasant, SC 27-2-1*
Season Complete. South Carolina Class AAAAA state champion.
School Facts: Public, 3,875 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: The FAB 50 preseason No. 1 team again finishes among the nation's elite following a third straight state title. Bennett Schilpp scored with 11 seconds left in the third overtime session, lifting Wando to a 1-0 victory over J.L. Mann. For coach Shilo Tisdale, he has five state titles in 13 years as head coach and now sports a career record of 325-33-3.
9 (9) Omaha South Omaha, NE 21-1-0*
Season Complete. Nebraska Class A state champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,615 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Keeper Jeramiah Gonzales made three saves in the shootout to help Omaha South to a state title victory over Creighton Prep following a 1-1 match. Omaha South and Creighton Prep has grown into a big-time Nebraska rivalry in recent years and all three of Omaha South's state titles have come against Creighton Prep. Creighton Prep took the lead in the match, but only 13 seconds later Edwin Cisneros tied the match for Omaha South. Omaha South, led by junior standout Abdillahi Adan, won two of the three meetings with Creighton Prep this season.
10 (10) McCallie School Chattanooga, TN 13-3-2*
Season Complete. Tennessee Division II-AA state champion.
School Facts: Private, all-boys, 915 students, grades 6-12.
NOTES: Neal Carlson and A.J. Gallup netted the goals as McCallie defeated Montgomery Bell Academy 2-0 to capture the program's second state title in three seasons. McCallie, which had early season losses to top-ranked Dalton (Ga.) and Westminster Schools (Ga.) ended the year on a 13-match undefeated streak. This year's McCallie team featured Virginia commit Matthew Warbrick and standout junior Gui Vivaldini.
11 (11) Evangelical Christian Cordova, TN 18-0-2*
Season Complete. Tennessee Division II-A state champion.
School Facts: Private, 565 students, grades 6-12.
NOTES: Kuku Kumtor, Evan Stookey and Brandon Brackett scored in quick fashion as ECS capped an undefeated season with a 3-0 win over regionally ranked Christ Presbyterian Academy in the state final. Evangelical Christian's signature results were a win over perennial AAA state challenger Houston and a draw with then FAB 50 Top 5-ranked Christian Brothers, which reached the Division II-AA state semifinals.
12 (12) Chancellor Fredericksburg, VA 20-1-0*
Season Complete. Virginia 4A state runner-up.
School Facts: Public, 1,285 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Chancellor's perfect season ended in a 2-1 overtime loss to Charlottesville in a state final. Mike Krieder scored for Chancellor, giving the team an early 1-0 lead. Charlottesville tied the match with two minutes remaining in regulation and won it late in overtime.
13 (13) Lakeside School Seattle, WA 17-0-5*
Season Complete. Washington Class 3A state champion.
School Facts: Private, 850 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Justin Blachman had a goal and one assist as Lakeside School capped an undefeated season with a 2-0 win over Bellevue in the state final. Joe-Joe Richardson scored the other goal. The win marked Lakeside's second state title since 2014.

Season Complete. Virginia 4A state semifinalist.
School Facts: Public, 1,350 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Jamestown's perfect season ended with a 4-2 loss to eventual state champion Charlottesville in the state semifinals. William & Mary commit Michael Meese scored the opening goal of the game, his 52nd of the season, but Charlottesville scored the next four goals.
15 (15) Bearden Knoxville, TN 21-3-0*
Season Complete. Tennessee Class AAA state champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,075 students, grades 8-12.
NOTES: Bearden and Station Camp played to a 1-1 match before Bearden won the Class AAA state title in a shootout that ended when Station Camp's final attempt clanged off the post. Caleb Wilkins gave Bearden a 1-0 lead in the first half before Station Camp, which was aiming for a third straight state title, answered in the second half. Bearden won the shootout 4-3. Bearden's only loss in the team's first 13 matches this season was to Georgia power Westminster School (Ga.). Bearden pinned the only loss on FAB 50-ranked Brentwood this season.
16 (16) Lakeside Atlanta, GA 18-2-3*
Season Complete. Georgia Class AAAAAAA state runner-up.
School Facts: Public, 2,200 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Jerod Spetseris scored to answer Lambert's first goal, but Lakeside eventually lost to Lambert 2-1 in the state final. Lakeside strung together a 15-match undefeated streak following a loss to North Gwinnett in order to get to the state final. North Gwinnett was the same team that handed Lambert its only loss of the season.

Season Complete. Washington Class 3A state runner-up.
School Facts: Public, 1,625 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Bellevue's undefeated season ended with a 2-0 loss to Lakeside School in a state final that featured a pair of undefeated teams. Bellevue is coached by former Seattle Sounders player Steve Zakuani, who was in his first season with the program.
18 (18) Creighton Prep Omaha, NE 19-3-0*
Season Complete. Nebraska Class A state runner-up.
School Facts: Private, 1,000 students, all-boys, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Matt Anderson gave Creighton Prep a 1-0 lead over Omaha South with just under five minutes remaining in regulation, but the Junior Jays surrendered a goal 13 seconds later and eventually lost in a shootout. Creighton Prep and Omaha South split their regular season matches. Creighton signee Duncan McGuire led the Junior Jays with 19 goals.
19 (19) J.L. Mann Greenville, SC 22-3-0*
Season Complete. South Carolina Class AAAAA state runner-up.
School Facts: Public, 1,750 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: J.L. Mann's state title bid ended in a 1-0 loss to Wando in triple overtime in the final. J.L. Mann had regular season losses to Clover and Wade Hampton. The Patriots avenged the loss to Wade Hampton later in the season, then defeated Clover 1-0 in the state semifinals to reach the final with Wando.

Season Complete. South Carolina Class AAAAA state semifinalist.
School Facts: Public, 2,200 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: A junior-loaded lineup carried Clover to a 26-win season before falling to J.L. Mann in the state semifinals. Clover had defeated J.L. Mann during the regular season. The Blue Eagles' other loss was in a shootout in the Palmetto Cup final. Ethan Stevenson, a junior, led the team in goals scored.
21 (21) Brighton Cottonwood Heights, UT 18-1-0*
Season Complete. Washington Class 3A state champion.
School Facts: Public, 1,975 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Braxton Jones scored in overtime as Brighton twice rallied from one-goal deficits for a 3-2 state final win over Olympus. London Botelho and Brennan Neeley also scored goals for Brighton, which ended the season on a 12-match win streak that included avenging its only loss of the season.
22 (22) Puyallup Puyallup, WA 20-2-0*
Season Complete. Washington Class 4A state champion.
School Facts: Public, 1,800 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Logan Oyama delivered a 20-yard free kick strike in the 77th minute to lift Puyallup to its first state title with a 2-1 win over Mount Si. Mount Si scored first and Andrew Irby evened the match in the 52nd minute, setting up Oyama's winner.

School Facts: Public, 1,855 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Mills Godwin got goals from four players in a 4-2 win over rival Deep Run in an all-Richmond 5A final.

NOTES: Christian Brothers' undefeated run ended with a state semifinal loss to Montgomery Bell Academy. The loss ended a strong season for CBHS, which included wins over Oklahoma state runner-up Tulsa Union and Tennessee AAA state runner-up Station Camp.
