The spring season is comprised of the following states: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Georgia, Iowa, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wyoming. The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

South Gwinnett finished a perfect first run through conference play and started the second round with a 3-1 win over Grayson. Considering the team is not scheduled to face an opponent with a winning record for almost a month, the Comets will be favored to remain perfect for the foreseeable future.

Dalton routed River Ridge 6-0 last week. The Catamounts' scheduled clash with McCallie (Tenn.) was postponed until later in the season.
