Gulliver placed fifth at the Montverde Academy Soccer Tournament, falling to Los Angeles Cathedral (Calif.) in penalty kicks the first day before posting a pair of one-sided consolation wins. |

The win made San Ramon Valley, which had three runner-up finishes in the past six years, the section champ for the first time since 2002. |
