The winter season includes the following states: Arizona, California, Florida, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

NOTES: Montverde Academy stretched its undefeated streak to 117 matches with a 1-0 win over Coppell (Texas) in the final of the Montverde Academy Soccer Tournament, which featured nationally ranked programs from four states. Denver commit Andre Shinyashiki scored the match-winning goal and was named tournament MVP after scoring five goals in three matches. Montverde's other signings include DMF Matius Silva (Saint Louis), F Lucas Fagotti (St. John's), D Jabari Newton (Memphis), D Zack Waitman (Central Florida), GK Federico Barrios (Dayton), GK Nolan Lennon (Clemson) and MF Victor Spaggiari (Wingate).

Rivera rolled up 13 goals in wins over San Benito and Harlingen last week.
3 (3) McKinney Boyd McKinney, TX 9-1-4
Despite a pair of league draws last week, Boyd stays put in the rankings, powered by an early win over No. 4 Coppell.
4 (4) Coppell Coppell, TX 13-2-0
Coppell has won nine straight matches since losing to Montverde Academy (Fla.) in the MAST final. Last week, the Cowboys edged Haltom 2-1 before defeating L.D. Bell 6-1.
5 (5) Cathedral Los Angeles, CA 18-1-6
Daniel Huizar scored four goals in Cathedral's 5-0 playoff win over Glendora.
6 (6) Watsonville Watsonville, CA 17-0-3
Watsonville closed out the regular season with seven straight shutouts.
7 (7) Gulliver Prep Miami, FL 18-1-1
Season Complete. Florida Class 2A state champion.
School Facts: Private, 650 students, in Prep grades 9-12.
NOTES: Augusto Acosta, Army commit Andy Alvarez and North Carolina commit Alexander Moztarzadeh scored the goals as Gulliver Prep won a second straight state title with a 3-1 decision over Bolles School. Gulliver netted 26 goals in five regional and state playoff wins, and the 3-1 final was the team's closest playoff match. Gulliver placed fifth at the Montverde Academy Soccer Tournament, falling to Los Angeles Cathedral (Calif.) in penalty kicks the first day before posting a pair of one-sided consolation wins.
8 (8) El Camino Real Woodland Hills, CA 23-0-4
Kayvon Parsa scored twice as El camino Real opened postseason play with a 3-0 win over San Pedro.
9 (9) El Toro Lake Forest, CA 13-0-7
El Toro edged Peninsula 2-1 to start postseason play in the CIF Southern Section Division I tournament.
10 (10) Buchanan Clovis, CA 18-2-1
Buchanan edged Golden Valley 1-0 to start postseason play. Buchanan in the top seed in the Central Section Division I tournament.
11 (11) Servite Anaheim, CA 21-2-1
Garrett Amador scored twice and six other players added goal as Servite cruised to a 7-0 win over Fountain Valley to start postseason play.
12 (12) North Mesquite Mesquite, TX 14-0-1
Five players scored North Mesquite's five goals last week in wins over Mesquite and Highland Park.
13 (13) Choctawhatchee Fort Walton Beach, FL 30-0-1
Season Complete. Florida Class 3A state champion.
School Facts: Public, 1,800 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Shane Nicholson's overtime blast lifted senior-heavy Choctawhatchee to a 1-0 win over Merritt Island in a state final rematch. The win marked the program's first state title after eight previous trips to the state tournament. In the semifinals, Choctawhatchee defeated SIMA FAB 50-ranked Sunlake.
14 (14) Grand Prairie Grand Prairie, TX 18-0-0
Grand Prairie ripped last place DeSoto 8-0 last week in the team's only outing.
15 (15) Cypress Bay Weston, FL 20-1-2
Season Complete. Florida Class 5A state champion.
School Facts: Public, 4,500 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Stefano Delgado converted the winning penalty kick as Cypress Bay edged West Orange 2-1 for the program's fourth state title in the past five seasons. Heavy favored Cypress Bay trailed 1-0 until the 55th minute when David Reyes scored on an assist from Franco Massacssi.
16 (16) St. Paul's Covington, LA 30-0-3
St. Paul's became the nation's second 30-win team this winter season with a state semifinal victory, putting the Wolves in the final with fellow perennial power New Orleans Jesuit this weekend.
17 (17) Frisco Centennial Frisco, TX 12-0-3
Riley Unger sparked the team's offense last week with a two-goal outing against Little Elm in a 3-1 contest.
18 (18) Clark San Antonio, TX 13-0-0
Tristan Cavazos scored the team's lone goal in a 1-0 win over Marshall and posted a pair of assists in the team's 3-1 victory over San Antonio Jay.
19 (19) Chandler Chandler, AZ 16-1-3
Season Complete. Arizona Division 1 state champion.
School Facts: Public, 3,200 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Chandler made it a "football" sweep for this Arizona school, claiming its first Division I crown with a 3-2 win over SIMA FAB 50-ranked Sandra Day O'Connor. Chandler also claimed the state's large-school football state title in the fall. Frank Stein, Carter Rumsey and Daniel Corona scored the goals as Chandler built a 3-1 lead en route to the victory.

School Facts: Public, 1,400 students, grades 10-12.
NOTES: Junior Zack Bailey scored both goals as Madison Central won a second straight state title with a 2-0 win over Ocean Springs. Madison Central outshot Ocean Springs 28-3 in the final. Madison Central's only loss this season was a 2-1 setback to St. Paul's (La.).
