The winter season includes the following states: Arizona, California, Florida, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

School Facts: Private, 1,100 students, grades K-12.
NOTES: Montverde Academy stretched its undefeated streak to 117 matches with a 1-0 win over Coppell (Texas) in the final of the Montverde Academy Soccer Tournament, which featured nationally ranked programs from four states. Denver commit Andre Shinyashiki scored the match-winning goal and was named tournament MVP after scoring five goals in three matches. Montverde's other signings include DMF Matius Silva (Saint Louis), F Lucas Fagotti (St. John's), D Jabari Newton (Memphis), D Zack Waitman (Central Florida), GK Federico Barrios (Dayton), GK Nolan Lennon (Clemson) and MF Victor Spaggiari (Wingate).
2 (2) Rivera Brownsville, TX 21-0-0
Rivera capped a perfect regular-season showing with a 4-2 win over San Benito.
3 (3) McKinney Boyd McKinney, TX 13-1-5
Boyd clinched the District 6-6A title with a 3-0 win over Lewisville last week. The Broncos square off with No. 14 Plano West this week, the outcome will not change the order of these teams in district play.
4 (4) Coppell Coppell, TX 17-2-1
Coppell handled former SIMA FAB 50-ranked Colleyville Heritage before beating Haltom 4-0 on Senior Night to cap regular-season play.
5 (5) Cathedral Los Angeles, CA 25-1-6
Season Complete. Southern California Regional Division III champion. CIF Southern Section Division 3 champion.
School Facts: Private, all-boys, 750 students in grades 9-12.
NOTES: Jose Cano scored twice and Elmer Guerra added a late insurance goal as Cathedral claimed a second straight sectional crown with a 3-0 win over Canoga Park. Keeper Kris Guerra recorded eight saves for the shutout. Cathedral's season also included a third-place finish at the Montverde Academy Soccer Tournament in Florida, losing to Coppell (Texas) in a semifinal shootout and beating Hamilton (Ariz.) in the consolation match. Cathedral also edged Gulliver Prep (Fla.) in a shootout in the first round at MAST.
6 (6) Gulliver Prep Miami, FL 18-1-1
Season Complete. Florida Class 2A state champion.
School Facts: Private, 650 students, in Prep grades 9-12.
NOTES: Augusto Acosta, Army commit Andy Alvarez and North Carolina commit Alexander Moztarzadeh scored the goals as Gulliver Prep won a second straight state title with a 3-1 decision over Bolles School. Gulliver netted 26 goals in five regional and state playoff wins, and the 3-1 final was the team's closest playoff match. Gulliver placed fifth at the Montverde Academy Soccer Tournament, falling to Los Angeles Cathedral (Calif.) in penalty kicks the first day before posting a pair of one-sided consolation wins.
7 (7) Clark San Antonio, TX 20-0-0
Javier Martinez scored three goals last week as Clark won a pair of matches to give coach Walter Rule a perfect regular-season showing for the first time in his 25-year coaching career.
8 (8) Chula Vista Chula Vista, CA 19-3-6
Season Complete. Southern California Regional Division I champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,700 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Pedro Garcia scored the tiebreaking goal as Chula Vista went on to a 4-2 win over El Camino Real in the section final. Chula Vista's SCR run included wins over Southern Section runner-up El Toro, Central Section champion Buchanan and Los Angeles Section champion El Camino Real.
9 (9) El Camino Real Woodland Hills, CA 28-1-5
Season Complete. Southern California Regional Division I runner-up.
School Facts: Public Charter, 3,400 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: El Camino Real's undefeated season ended with a 4-2 loss to Chula Vista in the SCR final. The match was tied until the final 10 minutes. Steven Gomez and Chris Attanasio scored for the Conquistadors, which went 4-0 against SCR Division II champion Sylmar and Division III runner-up Canoga Park.
10 (10) Choctawhatchee Fort Walton Beach, FL 30-0-1
Season Complete. Florida Class 3A state champion.
School Facts: Public, 1,800 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Shane Nicholson's overtime blast lifted senior-heavy Choctawhatchee to a 1-0 win over Merritt Island in a state final rematch. The win marked the program's first state title after eight previous trips to the state tournament. In the semifinals, Choctawhatchee defeated SIMA FAB 50-ranked Sunlake. The goal was Nicholson's 50th of the season.
11 (11) St. Paul's Covington, LA 31-0-3
Season Complete. Louisiana Division I state champion.
School Facts: Private, all-boys, 850 students in grades 9-12.
NOTES: Barrick Roberts scored two goals as St. Paul's capped an undefeated season with a 3-0 win over Jesuit in the final. Eric Guin, who scored twice in last year's state final win, scored the other goal as the Wolves rolled through the playoffs without allowing a goal.
12 (12) Cypress Bay Weston, FL 20-1-2
Season Complete. Florida Class 5A state champion.
School Facts: Public, 4,500 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Stefano Delgado converted the winning penalty kick as Cypress Bay edged West Orange 2-1 for the program's fourth state title in the past five seasons. Heavy favored Cypress Bay trailed 1-0 until the 55th minute when David Reyes scored on an assist from Franco Massacssi.
13 (13) Chandler Chandler, AZ 16-1-3
Season Complete. Arizona Division 1 state champion.
School Facts: Public, 3,200 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Chandler made it a "football" sweep for this Arizona school, claiming its first Division I crown with a 3-2 win over SIMA FAB 50-ranked Sandra Day O'Connor. Chandler also claimed the state's large-school football state title in the fall. Frank Stein, Carter Rumsey and Daniel Corona scored the goals as Chandler built a 3-1 lead en route to the victory.
14 (14) Plano West Plano, TX 10-1-4
Plano West could make a case for a higher ranking if the Wolves can knock off district champ McKinney Boyd in the regular-season finale this week.
15 (15) Brownsville Porter Brownsville, TX 16-0-2
Uriel Sepulveda and Ricky Vidal each scored twice in Porter's 7-0 win over PJSA.
16 (16) Frisco Centennial Frisco, TX 17-0-4
Austin Day delivered three goals last week as Centennial won a pair of matches to finish in a tie with Wakeland in the district standings.
17 (17) Wakeland Frisco, TX 15-1-4
Five players scored as Wakeland ended regular-season play with a 5-0 win over Little Elm to snag a share of the regular-season district title. Wakeland Centennial both went 13-0-3 in league play, which included a pair of draws in head-to-head matches.
18 (18) Madison Central Madison, MS 22-1-1
Season Complete. Mississippi Class 6A state champion.
School Facts: Public, 1,400 students, grades 10-12.
NOTES: Junior Zack Bailey scored both goals as Madison Central won a second straight state title with a 2-0 win over Ocean Springs. Madison Central outshot Ocean Springs 28-3 in the final. Madison Central's only loss this season was a 2-1 setback to St. Paul's (La.).
19 (19) Cinco Ranch Katy, TX 17-0-4
Cinco Ranch defeated Katy to close out an undefeated regular season.
20 (20) Grand Prairie Grand Prairie, TX 22-1-0
Grand Prairie was idle last week.
21 (21) South Grand Prairie Grand Prairie, TX 21-0-1
South Grand Prairie defeated Cedar Hill 2-1 to finish in a first-place district tie with Grand Prairie. The teams split their regular-season matches and ended the season at 11-1 in league play.
22 (22) San Ramon Valley Danville, CA 22-2-4
Season Complete. CIF North Coast Section champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,200 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Sophomore J.T. Carlson delivered one save in the shootout and that was enough as San Ramon Valley dethroned De La Salle in the section final after a 1-1 match. Nathan Miller gave the Wolves a 1-0 lead early, but De La Salle evened the score with four minutes left in regulation. De La Salle had not lost a playoff match since 2008 and was the six-time defending section champion. The win made San Ramon Valley, which had three runner-up finishes in the past six years, the section champ for the first time since 2002.
23 (23) Buchanan Clovis, CA 21-3-1
Season Complete. Southern California Regional Division I semifinalist. Central Section Division I champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,500 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Buchanan's season ended with a 1-0 loss to Chula Vista in the SCR Division I semifinals. Buchanan had wins over three SIMA FAB 50-ranked teams: Southern Section semifinalist Loyola, SCR Division II runner-up Servite and Arizona state semifinalist and Brophy Prep (Ariz.).
24 (24) Chaffey Ontario, CA 22-2-5
Season Complete. CIF Southern Section Division 3 runner-up.
School Facts: Public, 3,400 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Chaffey's season ended with a 2-0 section final loss to Los Angeles Cathedral. Despite a 22-2-5 record, Chaffey did not receive a bid to the Southern California Regional tournament.
25 (25) Canoga Park Canoga Park, CA 25-4-4
Season Complete. Southern California Regional Division III runner-up. Los Angeles Section Division III champion.
School Facts: Public, 1,800 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Canoga Park had a potential game-tying goal disallowed in the first half, then conceded two goals late in a 3-0 loss to California's top-ranked Cathedral in the SCR final. Canoga Park, led by scoring machine Ezequiel Quijada, had two losses to El Camino Real and went 1-0-1 against SCR Division II champ Sylmar.
