The winter high school season includes the following states: Arizona, California, Florida, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

Ryan Flood scored five goals, three in the final, as Corona del Sol won the Lotto Sport Western Showcase. The Aztecs defeated Servite (Calif.) in a wild 5-3 championship match. Corona del Sol opened the tournament with a penalty kick victory over Cathedral (Calif.) followed by a 2-0 semifinal victory over Brophy Prep.

Bryan Ibarra, Andy Sosa and Oscar Salas scored the goals as Godinez defeated Valencia 3-0 in the Aliso Cup final last week.

Cypress Bay capped a three-win week with a 4-0 victory over Everglades.

Servite was the runner-up at the Lotto Sport Western Showcase, falling to Corona del Sol (Ariz.) in the final. The Friars topped Hamilton (Ariz.) in the opening round and defeated Auburndale (Fla.) in he semifinals.

Manny Garcia was named to the all-tournament team as Cathedral finished as the consolation runner-up at the Lotto Sport Western Showcase. The Phantoms lost in a shootout to Corona del Sol (Ariz.) in the opening round and then handled former Top 5-ranked Loyola 3-0 in the second round. Cathedral fell to Hamilton (Ariz.) 2-1 in overtime in the finale. A day before the showcase, Cathedral ripped former Top 25-ranked Torrey Pines 5-0.
