The fall season includes the following states: California (fall sections only), Connecticut, D.C., Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia (private), Washington, West Virginia.

The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

Season Complete. Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference Champion.
School Facts: Private, 1,350 students, grades K-12.
NOTES: North Carolina State commit Kia Rankin scored twice to spark McDonogh to a 4-0 victory over Notre Dame Prep in the IAAM final, running the team's win streak to 34 matches. The Eagles averaged 6.6 goals per match. McDonogh's key wins were over Magnificat (Ohio) and state champions Immaculate Heart Academy (N.J.) and Pennington School (N.J.) -- all teams that have appeared in the SIMA FAB 50 -- by a combined 16-2 margin. North Carolina commit Bridgette Andrzejewski finished her high school career with 99 goals. Senior keeper Lindsey Clark, a Campbell commit, anchored the defense that allowed five goals on the season. Underclassmen Kori Locksley (Auburn) and Marissa Vincent (Oklahoma State) figure to be the key players next year.

Davis Kaysville, UT 20-0-0*
Season Complete. Utah Class 5A state champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,375 students, grades 10-12.
NOTES: Junior midfielder and BYU commit Mikayla Colohan scored on an assist from sophomore and fellow BYU commit Olivia Wade as Davis capped a perfect season with a 1-0 state final win over Weber. The win marked a second straight state title for Davis and ran the program's win streak to 24 matches.

Walsh Jesuit Cuyahoga Falls, OH 21-0-1*
Season Complete. Ohio Division I state champion.
School Facts: Private, 1,300 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Wake Forest-bound junior Sofia Rossi scored the lone goal as Walsh Jesuit capped a fourth straight undefeated season with a 1-0 state final win over Loveland. Walsh Jesuit is 84-0-7 over the last four years. In the state semifinals, Walsh Jesuit handed SIMA FAB 50-ranked Medina its only loss of the season in a 2-1 decision where Rossi scored both goals.

Houston Germantown, TN 22-0-0*
Season Complete. Tennessee Class AAA state champion.
School Facts: Public, 1,785 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Jenna Kemp, Paola Ellis and Jillian Hildreth netted the goals as Houston's depth was on full display in a one-sided, 3-0 win over Clarksville in a rematch of last year's state final. The win marked the seventh state title for Houston. Senior Gabby Little and Ellis, a junior, have committed to Ole Miss. Seniors Taylor White, a defender, and Mary Parker Powell, a goalkeeper, are bound for Austin Peay. Senior Anna Dellarosa has committed to Christian Brothers University.

Colts Neck Colts Neck, NJ 24-0-1*
Season Complete. New Jersey Group 3 state champion.
School Facts: Public, 1,500 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Penn State commit Frankie Tagliaferri converted a penalty kick in the 55th minute, lifting Colts Neck to a 1-0 stunner over previously undefeated and top-ranked Northern Highlands in the state final. Rutgers commit Amanda Visco anchored a defense that shut out Northern Highlands for the only time this season.

Northern Highlands Allendale, NJ 22-1-1*
Season Complete. New Jersey Group 3 state runner-up.
School Facts: Public, 1,450 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Northern Highlands' bid for a fifth straight state title was denied in a 1-0 setback to Colts Neck, which mustered only two shots against the Highlanders. The loss marked only the second defeat in the last 120 matches for Northern Highlands and its star-studded lineup led by Eva Hurm (Notre Dame), Casey Richards (Georgetown).

Season Complete. Connecticut Class LL state champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,250 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Colgate commit Mara Cosentino scored twice, but the Tomahawks needed a late goal by Rileigh Queen to put away Ridgefield 5-3 in the state final. The win marked a second straight state title for Glastonbury and third in the last five seasons.

Maria Carrillo Santa Rosa, CA 20-2-0*
Season Complete. California North Coast Section Division I champion.
School Facts: Public, 1,800 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Keeper Claire Howard (Montana) came up with several crucial saves as Maria Carrillo captured a fifth straight section title with a 2-0 victory over rival Montgomery. The Pumas join Montgomery (1990-1994) as the only programs to ever win five in NCS fall titles in a row. Ali King and Brooke Dunbar (Eastern Washington) scored the team's goals as the Pumas defeated Montgomery for the third time this season after losing to the Vikings early in the season. Maria Carrillo had a win over New Jersey Non-Public A state champion Immaculate Heart and lost a match to Northern Highlands (N.J.). Santa Clara-bound Maddy Gonzalez is expected to be named the All-Empire Player of the Year for the third straight season.

Medina Medina, OH 18-1-3*
Season Complete. Ohio Division I state semifinalist.
School Facts: Public, 2,050 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Medina conceded a late goal in a 2-1 state semifinal loss to Walsh Jesuit, ending the team's undefeated season. Janiece Joyner scored the goal for the Bees. Medina handed Perrysburg its only loss of the season and defeated Indiana power Fishers.

Ridge Basking Ridge, NJ 23-0-1*
Season Complete. New Jersey Group 4 co-state champion.
School Facts: Public, 1,850 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Despite holding a convincing edge in shots, Ridge was held to a scoreless draw with SIMA FAB 50-ranked Freehold Township in the state final. New Jersey is one of the few states that do not use penalty kicks to settle state finals after overtime play. The undefeated run marked Ridge's first state title since 2003.

Brebeuf Jesuit Indianapolis, IN 22-2-1*
Season Complete. Indiana Class 2A state champion.
School Facts: Private, 800 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Audrey Heile scored the game-winning goal with five minutes left as Brebeuf Jesuit rallied for a 2-1 victory over Penn in the state final. The Braves fell behind 1-0 a minute into the match before Hallie Pearson, with an assist from Michigan commit Alia Martin, tied the match midway through the second half.

Seattle Prep Seattle, WA 22-0-1*
Season Complete. Washington Class 3A state champion.
School Facts: Private, 720 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Sophomore Sophie Hirst, a national recruit, scored the lone goal as Seattle Prep secured a state title with a 1-0 win over Southridge. Seattle Prep was making its sixth state final appearance in nine seasons. The win marked a third state title. In the semifinals, Seattle Prep ousted defending champ Edmonds-Woodway. Hirst ended up as the team's leader in goals. Southern Cal commit Jalen Woodward led the team in assists. Mars Conn, Helena Reischling and Boston College commit Sam Hiatt were key performers.

Summit Bend, OR 17-0-1*
Season Complete. Oregon Class 5A state champion.
School Facts: Public, 1,400 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Meghan Day and Cristina Edwards each scored twice and Summit netted six second-half goals in a staggering 7-0 state final win over La Salle Prep. The win pushed Summit's undefeated run to 34 matches and marked a fourth straight state title.

Penn Mishawaka, IN 21-1-2*
Season Complete. Indiana Class 2A state runner-up.
School Facts: Public, 3,400 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Florida State commit Kristina Lynch, a sophomore, scored 61 seconds into the match, but Penn was unable to hold the lead in the second half in a 2-1 state final loss to Brebeuf Jesuit. For the season, Penn outscored its opponents 121-6. Lynch had a team-high 27 goals.

Massapequa Massapequa, NY 19-1-1*
Season Complete. New York Class AA state champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,000 students, grades 10-12.
NOTES: Mikayla Pugliese tied the match at 1, 48 seconds later Illinois commit Hope Breslin gave the Chiefs the lead and in the closing minutes Breslin added an insurance goal as Massapequa captured a third straight Class AA state title with a 3-1 win over Baldwinsville.

Needham Needham, MA 22-0-2*
Season Complete. Massachusetts Division 1 state champion.
School Facts: Public, 1,575 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Boston University commit Rachel Kingston got the offense started with an early goal as Needham cruised to a 3-1 win over Algonquin to win the state final. Kingston finished with two goals and Kathleen Rizzo had one as Needham built a 3-0 lead in the match. Crea Baker-Durante assisted both of Kingston's scores.
17 Upper St. Clair Pittsburgh, PA 20-2-1*
Season Complete. Pennsylvania Class AAA state champion.
School Facts: Public, 1,400 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Penn State commit Emma Hasco scored both goals as Upper St. Clair upended Central Bucks East 2-1 in the state final. The victory capped a week where the Panthers defeated two previously undefeated teams -- Norwin and Central Bucks East -- to capture the program's first state title.

Season Complete. Pennsylvania Class AAA state semifinalist.
School Facts: Public, 1,650 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Less than two weeks after handing Upper St. Clair a 3-0 setback in the WPIAL final, Norwin found itself on the losing end of a 2-1 decision to Upper St. Clair in the state semifinals. Norwin was led by senior all-state selections Micayla Livingston, a Dayton commit, and Jessica Boytim, a Virginia Tech commit.

Season Complete. Ohio Division I region runner-up.
School Facts: Public, 1,300 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Perrysburg's undefeated season came to an end with a 2-1 loss to Medina in the region final. Medina scored the winner with 11 seconds left in regulation. Kristina DeMarco scored Perrysburg's goal.

Central Bucks East Doylestown, PA 24-1-1*
Season Complete. Pennsylvania Class AAA state runner-up.
School Facts: Public, 1,650 students, grades 10-12.
NOTES: Penn commit Emma Loving scored the goal that drew Central Bucks East even with Upper St. Clair at 1-1, but Upper St. Clair had one more tally left in a 2-1 state final victory. In the state semifinals, Central Bucks East handed Cumberland Valley a 2-0 setback.

Montgomery Santa Rosa, CA 20-3-0*
Season Complete. CIF North Coast Section runner-up.
School Facts: Public, 1,800 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: All three of Montgomery's losses were to rival and SIMA FAB 50 No. 6 Maria Carrillo, including a 2-0 setback in the section final. Montgomery did beat Maria Carrillo early in the season, which vaulted the team into the Top 5 for a short time. This year's team was led by senior and Virginia commit Taylor Ziemer.

Season Complete. Minnesota Class AA state champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,100 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Freshman Megan Plaschko came up with a diving save to end the shootout and give Eagan a second straight state title with a victory over Eden Prairie. The match was scoreless through regulation and overtime.

St. Anthony's Melville, NY 12-1-2*
Season Complete. New York Catholic High School Athletic Association Class AA state champion.
School Facts: Private, 2,625 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Kayla Arestivo started the rally, Francesca Venezia provided the match-winning goal and Miranda Ozimek and Venezia tacked on insurance scored in a 4-1 state final win over Christ the King. For St. Anthony's, it was the program's second straight state title and first under coach Susan Alber, who took over the program for retired Dave Prutting.

Arbor View Las Vegas, NV 21-1-1*
Season Complete. Nevada Division I state champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,800 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Sierra Vicente scored the first goal and assisted the second as Arbor View defeated Coronado 2-0 to claim its fourth straight state title. In the semifinals, Arbor View netted seven goals, three of them assisted by Vicente. Haylee Niemann recorded her 18th shutout of the season in the state title win. Arbor View lost to Coronado early in the season, but bounced back to win the later two meetings as these programs were clearly the class of the state this year.

Issaquah Issaquah, WA 16-2-2*
Season Complete. Washington Class 4A state champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,015 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Madison Phan's header found the net in stoppage time as Issaquah edged West Valley 2-1 for the Class 4A state title. The win marked the program's fourth state title, but first on the 4A level. Issaquah trailed in the match until Claudia Longo tied the scored with little more than 20 minutes remaining.
