FAB 50 High School Soccer Team Rankings

The fall season includes the following states: Connecticut, D.C., Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia (private), Washington, West Virginia.

The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

Florida State commit Kristina Lynch had four goals and one assist last week as Penn wrapped up regular season play with wins over South Bend Adam and Glenn. Penn is riding a 40-match undefeated streak.

Notre Dame commit Molly Feighan scored three goals in the team's 5-0 win over rival John Jay-East Fishkill. Arlington also shut out Horace Greeley and Ketcham. Kayla Napier had a pair of goals against Ketcham. The Admirals have yet to allow a goal.

Portland Jesuit Portland, OR 8-0-0
Freshman Madeleine Kolino and senior Cal commit Emma Treasure each scored twice as Jesuit handled Aloha 6-0 in the team's only outing last week.

Northern Highlands Allendale, NJ 8-0-0
Claudia Dipasupil, Reagan Kiarmann and Claudia Mischler each scored as Northern Highlands posted an impressive 3-0 win over state-ranked Ridge last week.

Walsh Jesuit Cuyahoga Falls, OH 12-0-1
Walsh Jesuit capped a three-win week with a 1-0 decision over Magnificat. Things will start to heat up in the Ohio Division I playoffs as Walsh Jesuit, Strongsville and Medina are on a collision course in the early rounds of the event.

Houston Germantown, TN 16-0-0
Kallie Ogburn scored five goals and Catherine Dukes had three as Houston cruised to a 9-0 win over Southwind. Houston wraps up regular season play this week with games against St. Agnes and Briarcrest.

Brebeuf Jesuit Indianapolis, IN 15-0-1
Arizona commit Hallie Pearson scored three goals last week as Brebeuf posted shutout wins over Pike and Warren Central.

Whitman-Hanson Whitman, MA 8-0-1
Whitman-Hanson handled Duxbury and Bishop Feehan after playing to a draw with Scituate early in the week.

Central Catholic Lawrence, MA 7-0-1
Central Catholic won a pair of matches last week, capped by a 6-2 win over North Andover, which entered the contest with only one league loss. Boston University commit Ashley Raphael scored four goals and Providence commit Elayna Grillakis had four assists -- all in the first half.

Strongsville Strongsville, OH 9-0-3
Cincinnati commit Vanessa DiNardo scored both goals as Strongsville edged Medina 2-1 in a clash of Ohio powers. The result ended Medina's 47-match regular season undefeated streak, but extended Strongsville's regular season undefeated run to 42.

Freehold Township Freehold, NJ 9-0-0
Freehold won a pair of matches last week, but the key result was a 2-=0 win over Freehold Borough. Laura Noseworthy and Meg Summonte scored for the winners. This week Freehold Township faces a resurging Colts Neck squad.

Brianna Passaro scored the lone goal in a battle of undefeateds as St. Anthony's edged Sacred Heart 1-0 in the first of at least two meetings -- possibly as many as four this season.

Lily Menssen scored just a second before halftime to draw Medina even, but the Bees lost to rival and nationally ranked Strongsville 2-1 last week, ending the team's 47-match regular season undefeated streak.

Guerin Catholic was held to a scoreless draw last week by Zionsville.

Emily Speidel scored the game-winner in Carmel's 1-0 decision over Westfield, then Kelsie James and Susie Soderstrom netted goals in the team's 2-0 regular season-ending 2-0 win over Center Grove.

Urbana Ijamsville, MD 7-0-1
Urbana was held to a draw by rival Oakdale last week. The Hawks soon will face McDonogh in a match that will go a long way in determining the top team in Maryland.

Glastonbury Glastonbury, CT 6-0-1
Glastonbury's 4-1 win over Wethersfield last week matched its goal total for the four previous matches combined, yet the Tomahawks continue to get results as its national-leading undefeated streak has grown to 67 contests.

American Fork American Fork, UT 14-0-0
Rachel McCarthy scored twice in the second half as American Fork rallied from a 2-0 halftime deficit for a 3-2 win over Pleasant Grove last week.

McDonogh School Owings Mills, MD 7-1-2
McDonogh handled John Carroll and Notre Dame Prep to set up the all-important rematch with Archbishop Spalding this week. The winner is the odds-on favorite to win the IAAM regular season title and carry the No. 1 seed into the postseason. These programs, which have combined to win the last nine IAAM titles, played a scoreless match in their first meeting.

Archbishop Spalding routed state-ranked Mercy 8-0 last week. The Cavaliers will meet McDonogh again this week. A win would result in a major jump in the rankings. The teams tied their first meeting.

Maddie Fried scored twice as St. Joseph defeated Westhill 4-1 last week to remain one of only six remaining undefeated and untied teams in Connecticut.

Tennessee commit Alicia Donley scored the game winner as Pickerington North edged St. Frances De Sales 1-0 last week.

Ava Hanna had five goals and one assist, Duquesne commit Brooke Schutter added two goals and three assists and Jenna Leonzi had a goal and four assists to lead the offense as Parkland rolled up three wins last week.

Katie Butler's second-half goal gave Westfield a 1-0 win over Union last week, keeping this team perfect through the early part of the season.
