FAB 50 High School Soccer Team Rankings

The fall season includes the following states: Connecticut, D.C., Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi (independent schools) Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia (private), Washington, West Virginia.

The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

Eastern posted its second win this season over regionally ranked Shawnee, this time a 3-2 decision. Eastern jumped out to a 3-0 lead behind two goals by Kelli McGroarty and one by Riley Tiernan.
2 (2) Beavercreek Beavercreek, OH 14-0-0
Beavercreek moved within one win of tying the Ohio state record for consecutive wins following a 3-1 victory over St. Ursula.
3 (3) St. Anthony's Melville, NY 8-0-1
Providence commit Samantha Adams and Nicole Gordon each scored three goals and Virginia commit Brianna Jablonowski scored twice as St. Anthony's defeated St. Francis prep and St. John the Baptist last week. St. Anthony's faces Strongsville (Ohio) and McDonogh (Md.) this week.
4 (4) Portland Jesuit Portland, OR 9-0-1
Portland Jesuit routed state-ranked Beaverton 6-1 last week. The Crusaders face another state-ranked team in Mountainside this week.
5 (5) Anthony Wayne Whitehouse, OH 15-0-0
Anthony Wayne routed Napoleon 9-0 and handled Toledo Notre Dame 3-0 to stay perfect.

Glastonbury Glastonbury, CT 7-0-0
Glastonbury capped a two-win week with a closer-than-expected 1-0 win over Rocky Hill.

Brentwood Brentwood, TN 9-0-0
A loss by Houston allowed Brentwood to take over the No. 1 ranking in Tennessee state rankings. Brentwood reinforced the ranking with a 5-0 thrashing of private school state title contender Father Ryan last week.

Conestoga handled Penncrest 4-1 last week to extend its perfect season.

Noblesville Noblesville, IN 11-0-3
Sisters Jenna and Elana Chatterton scored the goals as Noblesville defeated Hamilton Southeastern 2-1 in a clash of Indiana state title contenders. The result capped an undefeated regular season for Noblesville while HSE took its first instate loss of 2019.

Kelsie James scored two goals in both of Carmel's wins last week. The Greyhounds, last year's Indiana large school state champion, closed out an undefeated regular season with the wins.

Lakota West was held to a 2-2 draw with Fairfield, then defeated Turpin 7-0.

Christian Academy-Louisville Louisville, KY 13-0-2
Olivia Lawson scored five goals last week in Christian Academy's two wins, pushing the Xavier commit to 43 goals this season.

Spalding defeated St. Paul's 3-1 to remain in first place in a top-heavy IAAM race.

Mercy, which has a loss to Spalding and a win over McDonogh, stayed in the No. 2 spot in league play with a 2-0 victory over Notre Dame Prep.

McDonogh defeated Cumberland Valley (Pa.) and Hereford last week, both were quality results. CV remains a Top 25-ranked team and Hereford, a preseason regionally ranked squad, is a public school title contender in Maryland. McDonogh faces Strongsville (Ohio) and St. Anthony's (N.Y.) this week.

Six different players scored goals as Sacred Heart posted wins over Bethlehem (4-0) and Highlands (2-1) last week.

Strongsville handled Shaker 5-0 last week. The Mustangs have a chance to make a major move in the rankings as it faces three Top 25 teams this week -- Medina, St. Anthony's (N.Y.) and McDonogh (Md.).

In a week where Gigi Ricciardi committed to Fort Wayne, teammate Caylee Jozefov became the school's all-time leading goal scorer as the Blue Devils posted a pair of wins.
