Meghan Frerking, a junior, scored once against Aquinas and netted the game-winning against Lee's Summit North, and in both cases ended undefeated seasons for those opponents.

Sophomore Lily Conley and freshman Emma Weaver scored the goals as New Trier defeated Brookfield Central (Wis.) 2-0. Brookfield Central is among the favorites to win the Wisconsin large-school title this spring. New Trier rolled up a 14-1 advantage in corner kicks and a defense, anchored by Sydney Parker, limited Brookfield Central to three shots on goal.

The team bounced back with a 4-1 win over St. James Academy in the consolation as North Carolina commit Hallie Klanke scored three goals.
