The North Stars earned the state, region and FAB 50 No. 1 ranking on the field last week, beating St. Charles East, Benet Academy and New Trier at the Naperville Invitational. The run of wins over regionally and nationally ranked opponents created a Naperville Invitiational title showdown with Barrington, which did not get played. The teams were declared co-champions after the championship match was canceled due inclement weather and no make-up possibilities.
