The winter high school season includes the following states: Arizona, California, Florida, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

Coppell, which has yet to allow a goal this season, vaults into the No. 1 spot after taking out Berkner (4-0) and Dallas Skyline (12-0) last week.

Highland Park received goals by seven players in a 2-0 win over Forney and 5-0 decision over Royse City to keep the team perfect.

After knocking off Marcus 3-1 behind an Ally Griffin hat trick, Southlake Carroll had to settle on a scoreless draw with Top 25-ranked Byron Nelson.

St. Johns Country Day cruised to a 5-0 win over Evangelical Christian in the Class 1A state semifinals. The Spartans next face Lakeland Christian and are a heavy favorite to win a sixth straight state title.

Mariah Ruelas and Madelyn Dowell scored the goals and Plano picked up an own goal in wins over McKinney Boyd and Plano West last week.

Oviedo Oviedo, FL 21-0-1
Oviedo scored twice in the first seven minutes and handed SIMA FAB 50-ranked Newsome its only loss in a 3-0 state semifinal contest. The Lions next take on Boca Raton in a Top 10 showdown for the state's Class 5A crown.

Boca Raton Boca Raton, FL 25-0-0
Kendra Cashion and Dayana Martin, both juniors, had a goal and one assist as Boca Raton handled Lourdes 3-0 in a Class 5A state semifinal match. The Bobcats will clash with Oviedo in the final.

Carondelet Concord, CA 17-1-2
Cassidy Tshimbalanga scored a goal in both Carondelet's wins last week, 2-0 over Dougherty Valley and a 1-0 decision over California, which gave the Cougars the EBAL title and the No. 1 seed in the upcoming CIF-North Coast playoffs.

Brentwood Liberty Brentwood, CA 16-1-1
Robyn McCarthy had to goals and one assist last week as Liberty defeated Freedom 3-2 and tied Heritage 1-1. Devyn Gilfoy scored twice against Freedom. The Lions next compete in the CIF-North Coast playoffs where they are likely to clash with the EBAL powers.

JSerra San Juan Capistrano, CA 15-1-2
JSerra and Mater Dei played to a scoreless draw last week, but that's all JSerra needed to clinch its first-ever Trinity League title.

Livermore Livermore, CA 15-1-4
A pair of ties last week costs Livermore the EBAL title as it settled into a second-place finish behind Carondelet, a team it defeated. Livermore is the top seed for the CIF North Coast Section Division 2 tournament, which starts this week.

Davis Davis, CA 16-0-1
Davis' 4-1 win over Franklin last week extended one of the nation's most unusual undefeated streaks to 40 matches. Davis went 21-0-2 as a spring-playing team last school year, and currently are 16-0-1 as a winter-playing team this year. Overall, that means the Blue Devils are 37-0-3 since Feb. 26, 2016.

There's still plenty of season remaining for San Marcos, but here's a fact that could lead this team into a high preseason ranking next year: 50 of the team's 54 goals have been scored by underclassmen.

Monte Vista Danville, CA 13-3-4
Monte Vista closed out the regular season with a 1-1 draw with Livermore and a 2-0 victory over archrival San Ramon Valley. The Mustangs finished third in the EBAL behind Carondelet and Livermore. Monte Vista is the No. 3 seed in the CIF North Coast Section Division 1 playoffs.

St. Thomas Aquinas Fort Lauderdale, FL 21-1-2
Ohio State signee Chloe O'Neill and Florida State signee Isabella Dorosy scored two goals each as St. Thomas Aquinas thrashed St. Petersburg 8-0 in a Class 4A state semifinal contest. The Raiders will be heavy favorites to win a record 15th state title in the final against Creekside.

Oklahoma commit Jasmine Richards had a goal and one assist last week as The Woodlands won its seventh straight game since an early season setback to SIMA FAB 50 No. 3 Southlake Carroll.

Cinco Ranch shut out Seven Lakes 3-0 and Morton Ranch 7-0 last week to move up in this week's Top 25.

Foothill is the No. 4 seed in the CIF North Coast Section playoffs and could see SIMA FAB 50-ranked California in the quarterfinals and top-seeded Carondelet in the semifinals. The Falcons closed out the regular season with wins last week over Granada and Amador Valley.

Keller routed Weatherford last week with Mississippi State signee AK Ward netting five goals, and the Indians also dealt Timber Creek a setback behind Gabriella Coleman's two-goal outing. Coleman, who scored four goals last week, also has signed with Mississippi State.

BYU commit Bella Folino and ECNL player and former Region IV ODP performer Sara Jayne Affleck each scored twice in Aliso Niguel's 4-0 win over Laguna Hills, which ended a perfect run through league play.

Corona del Mar closed out an undefeated regular season with a 2-0 victory over Irvine. Liz Lamie and Taylor Rosen netted the goals for the Sea Queens as it accomplished a rare feat for a Southern Section program -- going undefeated during what is a grueling regular season schedule.

Emily Tomz netted the only goal as Palo Alto edged Los Gatos 1-0 last week to remain undefeated.

Four players scored the goals in Quartz Hill's wins over Knight and Lancaster last week. The lone blemish on Quartz Hill's record is a shootout loss during a December holiday tournament, which counts as a tie for Southern Section teams.
