The winter high school season includes the following states: Arizona, California, Florida, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

Texas Tech signee Alexandria Griffin had five goals and three assists last week while Taylor Tufts added two goals and five assists as Southlake Carroll rolled up a pair of one-sided wins, which included a 5-0 decision over a Lewisville team that entered the match undefeated and beating former Top 10-ranked Marcus.

Highland Park capped a two-win week with a 3-0 victory over formerly undefeated Poteet.

Ryley Andrews scored twice as Coppell defeated previously undefeated W.T. White to highlight last week's action.
4 (4) St. Johns Country Day Orange Park, FL 23-0-0
Payton Crews scored twice as St. Johns Country Day rolled past First Academy 6-0 in the regional final. The Spartans move on to the state semifinals.
5 (5) Plano Senior Plano, TX 9-0-1
Sydney Richards scored both goals in Plano's 2-1 win over Allen. The team then defeated Wylie 2-0 last week to stay undefeated.

Brentwood Liberty Brentwood, CA 15-1-0
UCLA signee Danielle Sheehan scored three goals and had one assist, Haley Bostard had three goals and Taty Elsea added a goal and two assists last week as Liberty won a pair of one-sided matches.

American Heritage-Plantation Plantation, FL 20-0-0
Marlee Fray scored twice in the first half as American Heritage built a 4-1 lead before settling on a 4-3 victory over North Fort Myers in the regional final. The Patriots now advance to the Class 3A state semifinals.

Oviedo Oviedo, FL 20-0-1
Oviedo scored a pair of late goals to put away Flagler Palm Coast 3-0 in the regional final, sending the Lions to its seventh state semifinal appearance. Three players scored goals for Oviedo, and the team recorded its 16th shutout of the season. Oviedo next faces Newsome.

Boca Raton Boca Raton, FL 24-0-0
Quinn Knapp and Kendra Cashion each scored twice as Boca Raton routed Vero Beach in the regional final. Boca Raton advances to the state semifinals and a date with Lourdes. The winner will get the Oviedo-Newsome winner in the Class 5A state final.

Lexi Romero had a goal and two assists last week as Livermore retained its thin lead over Carondelet in the EBAL race with wins over Dublin and Foothill.

In keeping with Carondelet's spread-the-wealth approach, five different players scored the team's goals last week in key victories over San Ramon Valley and Amador Valley. The Cougars are close on the heels of Livermore in the race for the EBAL regular season title.

JSerra and Santa Margarita played to a scoreless tie last week. Despite the result, JSerra remains the leader in the Trinity League.

In a rematch with local power St. Francis, Davis pulled out a 2-1 victory, completing a regular season sweep. It is likely these teams could meet again in the postseason.

After giving up a last-second goal to allow the game to go to overtime, Newsome eventually emerged with a shootout win over SIMA FAB 50-ranked Palm Harbor University in the regional final that pitted undefeated nationally ranked teams. It marked the second straight year Newsome has knocked out Palm Harbor University in the regional final. The Wolves next face undefeated Oviedo in the state semifinals.
